Seems OK at first try. Takes quite a while to (first) boot, even on a recent machine, 4Gb mem. Notice that several distros have an entirely blank screen at certain times of boot-up. It would be helpful if something/anything could be displayed at all times, even if only a line of dots.

Quick test result for first boot.

Using a 16 GB USB-3.0 stick plugged into a USB-2.0 port takes 180 seconds to write the image onto the stick.
At first boot it shows a read speed of '98'. 180 seconds later EasyOS-2.3.3 is up and running.

I would call this a very fast system install for an old BIOS box with an 2x Intel Celeron at 2.60GHz and 2GB of ram.

At first boot the sound card wizard will pop up but the text is hard to read - the bar is not high enough.

Upgraded from 2.3.2 to 2.3.3 and that fixed a boot failure with HD frugal install on high numbered drives.(>30) Kernel change fixed? Anyway, looks good.

That's strange, the sound card wizard window has always been ok for me.

You can of course drag the bottom of the window to enlarge it.

The initrd now has devtmpfs, which automatically creates all partition nodes as needed.

That's right, you will have to run one of the 32-bit Puppy Linux releases. EasyOS is 64-bit only.
